Cisco a lansat luna aceasta o nouă certificare entry-level. Este vorba despre CCT – Cisco Certified Technician. Acesta certificare presupune că tehnicienii sunt capabili de onsite support şi mentenanţă pentru dispozitivele Cisco. Există 3 părţi ale acestei certificări:
- CCT Routing & Switching – 640-692 RSTECH
- CCT Data Center – 640-893 DCTECH
- CCT TelePresence – 640-792 TPTECH
Ordinea de susţinere a examenul este următoarea: Obligatoriu (1), apoi (2) sau (3), urmat de (3) respectiv (2).
Certificare este validă 3 ani ca toate certificarile sub-expert. Iată mai jos la ce ne aşteptăm să învăţăm în fiecare din cele 3 module.
Supporting Cisco Routing and Switching Network Devices (RSTECH) v1.0
- Review networking fundamentals, including connectivity, LAN and WAN, OSI model, subnetting, and addressing
- Identify Cisco router and switch models, accessories, cabling,and interfaces
- Understand Cisco IOS Software operating modes and identify commonly found software
- Use the Cisco command line interface (CLI) to connect and service products
- Demonstrate effective field servicing and equipment replacement, including hot swap, with support of the Cisco Technical Assistance Center
Supporting Cisco Data Center System Devices (DCTECH) v1.0
- Review Cisco data center networking fundamentals, including SAN, UTP and fiber connectors, the unified computing fabric, and server options
- Identify Cisco UnifiedComputing System (UCS) component models, accessories, cabling, and interfaces
- Understand Cisco UCS and NX-OS operating modes and identify commonly found software
- Use the Cisco Graphical User Interface to connect and service product components
- Demonstrate effective field servicing and equipment replacement, including hot swap, with the support of the Cisco Technical Assistance Center
Supporting Cisco TelePresence Systems Devices (TPTECH) v1.0
- Review networking fundamentals, including VoIP, Cisco Unified Call Manager, IP phones, and video components
- Identify Cisco TelePresence models, accessories, cabling, andinterfaces
- Understand Cisco TelePresence operating modes and identify commonly found software
- Use the Cisco command line interface (CLI) to connect and service products and make basic TelePresence product adjustments
- Demonstrate effective field servicing and equipment replacement, including hot swap, with the support of the Cisco Technical Assistance Center
